About us

Troja SIA was established in 1992 on base of State-owned enterprise. At present Troja SIA is one of the leading plywood further processing and machining enterprise in Latvia with far reaching development plans in production of plywood products.

Main activity of Troja SIA is further processing of standard birch plywood into higher value added products. We are producing also rocking horses, furniture, ramps and traffic signs of birch plywood.

Social Commitment

In base of Troja SIA social commitment is implementation of enterprise goals, at the same time taking into account social and enterprise needs where both enterprise and society gets added value. One of the activity directions is set for support of children and young persons. The rocking horses and ramps are the most valued our produced products among children and young persons.

Together with Latvian Culture Foundation and support, we have built Skate Park near the enterprise buildings. Troja SIA is donating children’s homes, schools and children’s camps. 

We pay substantial attention to employees’ working environment, work safety and social insurance. In enterprise employees have possibilities to master new professions, as well as internal and external trainings are organized. 

Troja SIA is maintaining not only welfare and safety of society and its employees, but also maintenance of clean surrounding is one of the most important tasks. Enterprise in its activity supports long – term forest management policy. (FSC Certificate for wood chain of custody since 15th January of 2004. and PEFC Certificate for wood chain of custody.

By maintaining clean environment, since 2005 enterprise has provided the sorting of waste, and close co-operation with "Zaļā josta" SIA  is established, it is approved by Certificate issued for enterprise.

Labour Union

For the development and consolidation of social dialogue in enterprise Labour Union is working, and it is included in Labour Union of Concern Latvijas Finieris. It is independent structural unit of Forest Sphere Workers Trade Union. The larger half of Troja SIA employees is a member of this Labour Union since its foundation.
Main goals of Labour Union are make and develop constructive dialog between Labour Union and employer, thus making closer position of parties in different economical and social questions, as well as promoting safety and stability of partners in dialogue. 

Pension funds

Troja SIA has concluded Collective Partnership Agreement with open pension fund SEB Unipensija with aim to improve the structure of remuneration and provide additional social guarantees for employees – accumulation of extra pension capital for old age.
